TheManatee Observation and Education Center invites you to attend the 24thAnnual NatureFest Celebration, a free environmental festival, on Saturday,February 22nd from 9am to 3pm at the Manatee Center, 480 N IndianRiver Drive, Fort Pierce, FL.
Thisenvironmental festival features nearly 30 exhibitors that showcase the TreasureCoast’s wildlife, natural resources, and Florida’s great outdoors! Families canenjoy the interactive exhibits, touch tank demonstrations and children’sactivities. PLUS take selfies with Moe the Manatee, the Manatee Center’smascot. Local environmental specialists will give brief presentationsthroughout the day, including: the Florida Forest Service, SirenianInternational, Indian River Lagoon Aquatic Preserves, Friends of the SavannasPreserve State Park, and more. Plus visit booths from Smithsonian MarineStation, FAU Harbor Branch, the St. Lucie County Audubon Society, TreasureCoast Wildlife Center, and more. You’ll even see the Florida Forest Servicewildfire engine truck and the St Lucie County Citizens Marine Patrol boat andjeep.
