
CLYDE BUTCHER OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION
Attention Clyde Butcher fans and photography lovers! An exhibition by the multi-award-winning national photographer is coming to St. Lucie County!
The Cultural Alliance partners with MIDFLORIDA Event Center, Florida Humanities, and the Smithsonian to bring you a fall show by famous landscape photographer Clyde Butcher, Living Waters and the Florida Landscape, opening on October 1.
This exhibition is a traveling show by the Aquatic Preserve Society. Butcher, a self-taught professional photographer is known for his remarkable black and white and landscape photographs, composes his work throughout the United States and helps the public experience scenes out of reach and untouched. He is a longtime devoted supporter of environmental causes and donated the photographs to the Aquatic Preserve Program.
Come to the Alliance season-opening celebration and this well-anticipated stop of the moving gallery to enjoy the solo exhibition, Living Waters and the Florida Landscapes, filled with 29 of Clyde Butcher’s large-format breathtaking photographs, live music, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.
