Wildfires & Wilderness Sunset Hike

Thursday, April 22 from 7 to 8 p.m.: Wildfires & Wilderness Sunset Hike – Virtual Program.  Do fires truly “destroy” or “devastate” wildlife habitat as is often seen in the news? During this virtual hike, we will witness a recently burned section of forest and investigate what effect fire has on wildlife and wildlife habitats throughout Florida. Along the way, we’ll keep an eye out for wildlife while also enjoying the remote location of this nature preserve. Finish your Earth Day with a sunset over a beautiful area of the preserve.
