In the theater world, winter and spring are the most exciting times of the year! Concerts, comedic acts, dances and musicals-groups travel all around the country at this time of year to perform for audiences of all sizes. The Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce is your number #1 stop for great acts during your vacation to St. Lucie-it’s showtime!
Built in 1923, the Sunrise Theatre of Downtown Fort Pierce is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Sunrise originally opened its doors as the largest theater on Florida’s East Coast between Jacksonville and Miami and since first opening, (and closing due to the decline in the economy in the eighties) the theater has been beautifully renovated to its original splendor with state-of-the-art sound and lighting.
