McCarty Ranch
Port St. Lucie’s McCarty Ranch Preserve is great for the active couple or family. Go hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing or horseback riding along these beautiful Florida pinelands. Visitors can now camp under the stars in this primitive and rustic setting.
Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens
The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens is perfect for an afternoon stroll. Wander through 14 garden rooms in this serene sanctuary; have a picnic, or just read a book in one of the outdoor seating areas.
Oxbow Eco-Center
Come discover St. Luice’s wild side at the Oxbow Eco-center. Stroll or hike along the trails which traverse along the St. Lucie River. Be on the lookout for wildlife such as gopher tortoises, birds, otters, alligators & more. Trails are open from sunrise to sunset! Food Truck Fridays
Bring the family to chow down with the best South Florida food trucks every third Friday of the month. Grab a lawn chair and/or blanket to eat and take in the beautiful view at Tradition Square. There’s a kid zone, and many activities and music for all to enjoy. It’s always the best time of the year to enjoy being outdoors in St. Lucie!
River Nights
In the mood for a different kind of date night? Bring a comfortable chair, and head over to the Event Lawn at The Port to listen to live music while looking out over the St. Lucie River and gazing into the night sky. Food and drink are available for purchase. River Nights is free and takes place on the second Thursday of every month.
